Vsauce is arguably the overall best science channel on Youtube. Creator, Michael Stevens, uses his wide range of knowledge to educate on topics from astronomy to technology and pop culture. Vsauce is great for all age groups, but recommended for students age 13 and older.

Kurzgesagt is a German animation studio founded by Philipp Dettme. This Youtube channel is my personal favorite. Each video can take up to 1200 hours to make and contains some of the highest-quality science-based animation online. The videos are perfect for all ages and are centered around topics such as:

This channel is great for homeschoolers that are passionate about space and the prospect of becoming an Astronaut or Aerospace Engineer.

The Amoeba Sisters is one of the most creative and fun science Youtube channels. The channel was created by two sisters, one a former High School Biology teacher to provide viewers a humorous, easy-to-understand depiction of difficult Biology topics.

We are two sisters on a mission to demystify science with humor and relevance by creating videos, GIFs, comics, and resources. Our content is focused on high school biology (Pinky is a former high school biology teacher), though we do receive comments that some of our content is useful for intro biology courses at the college level as well. Derek has been featured on various Youtube channels and is often a guest on the Netflix series, Bill Nye Saves the World.

Veritasium is suitable for all ages, but the videos typically contain content that is more advanced and better for Middle School and High School students.
